how much do sophie dahl and amanda seyfried look like twins?

It's almost uncanny. They're both so pretty...they should play sisters in a movie or something.

golds + neutral eyes (urban decay + armani)

I am currently loving neutral, shimmery eyes. I have long loved highlighers (especially Benefit ones) but always in pink, because I'm so pale. But I recently got a hold of one of these new Armani Luce eyeliners in gold and it is ROCKING my world. I love coloured eyeliner (smudged onto the lower lid) and this is golden, amazing. I also use it in the corner of my eyes, it brings a bit of light to my eyes, like bronzer, only on a smaller and less "the only way is essex" way. (eyeliner, 20.50 euro or $27, yes a splurge, but I'm feeling it).

I've thus been enboldened to think neutrals, golds, even (GASP!) browns. I have been told that Urban Decay's Naked eye palettes are the bomb, enabling anyone to get a smudgy neutral look, either for day or night. But is it worth the cash? 40 euros or $48? I know you get a LOT of cool shadows, but I get the sweats when I make a big purchase, especially in the beauty department (unless it's perfume!).

At least I know I can boldly go BRONZE.

i'm actually excited to see jennifer lawrence in the hunger games

She looks so badass. Sometimes I wish I was an actress in action films because they clearly get to do all the fun working out, like kickboxing and archery.
Plus I'm really excited to see the films after reading the books, even though they're aimed at teens, they've got a really good story which is going to translate well into film.

Cool 1920s/1930s style from the artist

I love the leading lady's chic 1920s fashion in the Artist. Berenice Bejo plays Peppy Miller, and she sports flapper dresses, furs and cloche hats with aplomb. The film, a play on silent films, has been nominated for loads of awards already.
I love the 1920s lately, and especially the fashions from this film which also reference art deco and 1930s architectural influences. Although I have no flapper dresses, I did buy myself the Heritage Out of Africa from American hat-makers Goorin Bros.
